Max Lennaárd is a Swedish designer and artist.

  He began his journey with a burning interest in graffiti during the 80's but soon sought more towards three-dimensional form and began his education in sculpture. The interest in form and spatial design took him on to designing retail stores. He developed a deeper interest in production techniques in general and metals in particular and that moved him into the manufacturing industry where he worked as a production manager for a mechanical workshop. In parallel, he continued designing and his first comerial works, the candlestick EMOTION was launched at the Formex exhibition in 2013, where it was nominated for Formex Formidable. However, he felt the urge to fully follow his passion for design and went back to school in 2014. 

  Max finds much of his inspiration in nature and in the industrial, combining the hard structure of metal with natural organic soft shapes. He is constantly challenging with his exploration of new materials and production techniques, while deeply rooted in traditional craftsmanship and sustainability philosophy.

Born 1972 in Stockholm, Sweden. Graduated from Konstfack University College of Arts, Craft and Design in Stockholm, BA Industrial design in 2017.
